June 29 through July 1, 2013 - The Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site of Canada, Quebec

CanIRON is the Canadian National Blacksmithing Conference held every second year, and moves west to east across Canada. CanIRON IX marks the first time the event has been hosted in Quebec. The Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site of Canada is located on the west side of the St. Maurice River, approximately 15 kilometres north of downtown Trois-Rivières. (About 140km past Montreal)

Knife makers, architectural blacksmiths, blacksmiths of all trades shall get together and perform demonstrations of their knowledge. Should it be archeo-metallurgy or artistic forging, almost all blacksmithing trades will be represented.
For the amateurs and professionals alike, this is a unique opportunity to observe, share and collaborate with the best craftsmen.
