Notices > 100 Year Old Railroad Spike to Wedding Ring

Found an old sunken railroad in a lake I was swimming in during a camping trip. Managed to swim to the bottom and pull up an original rail spike. Was wondering if anyone a) knows if it can be a quality wedding ring (I believe it is Iron, and despite being under water for a century it is still in decent shape), and b) if someone can make a ring out of it.

Hi Michael,

I've made iron wedding rings before, please email me and we can talk about it off the notices page. I think it could be done, but there are a few things to consider.
