"Growing up in Austria the sound of violin music was never too far away
to hear. I wanted to have my own version of a violin to remind me of that
wonderful music. I constructed this life size violin out of steel, added a
wooden bridge and real strings so that it could be tuned and played. It has
a very distinctive sound. Some parts of the original bow have been used along
with steel tubing."
